Limited Warranty Policy – Teko.lk

At Teko.lk, we stand behind the quality of our products. This limited warranty applies to all computer hardware purchased through Teko.lk and is effective from the date of purchase, as stated on the final invoice, unless otherwise specified.

Warranty Coverage:

  • Used computers: 3-month limited warranty

  • Brand new computers: 3-year limited warranty

This warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

During the warranty period, Teko.lk will attempt to repair defective products or components using new or factory-refurbished parts, free of charge. All replaced parts (excluding external housings and accessories) become the property of Teko.lk.

Repaired or replaced items are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.

To claim warranty services, customers must present a valid proof of purchase (invoice or warranty card). All transportation, handling, and delivery costs involved are the responsibility of the customer.

What the Warranty Does NOT Cover:

This limited warranty does not apply to the following:

  • Accidents, misuse, abnormal use, improper storage or handling

  • Exposure to liquids, moisture, sand, dust, or extreme environments

  • Cosmetic damages like scratches, dents, or housing damage

  • Forceful actions or using metallic objects on touchscreens

  • Products with removed or altered serial numbers or data codes

  • Natural wear and tear (including battery degradation)

  • Use of incompatible accessories or third-party equipment

  • Unauthorized installation, software modifications (e.g., root access)

  • Damages from fire, flooding, lightning, earthquakes, power surges, etc.

  • Software bugs, viruses, or data loss during servicing

Note: Battery issues, software corruption, and loss of data are not covered under this warranty. Teko.lk is not responsible for any data loss under any circumstances.

Warranty policies, product specifications, and service terms may change without prior notice.

Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. Inform Teko.lk of the defect by calling or emailing us.

  2. Return the product to Teko.lk or an authorized repair center.

  3. Customers are responsible for delivery and pickup charges.

  4. We will inspect the product within 3–7 working days.

  5. If eligible, Teko.lk will repair or replace parts within 14 working days.

  6. If the product is out of warranty, standard repair charges will apply.

Teko.lk reserves the right to accept or deny any warranty claim based on the product’s condition and adherence to our terms.

Delivery Policy

  • Orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days after confirmation.

  • Delivery time may vary due to courier partner delays.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available. All orders must be prepaid.

Return & Exchange Policy

  • Returns are not accepted once the item has been delivered or collected, except in cases of valid warranty claims.

  • Exchanges are permitted only if:

    • The product is returned in its original unused, sealed condition.

    • The request is made within 7 working days from the purchase date.

    • The exchange is approved after inspection by Teko.lk management.

  • Exchanges can be made for:

    • A different product of equal value

    • An upgrade (customer pays the price difference)

Refunds are not offered under any circumstances.
